Sermon Note.

Psalm 60:6-7

God has spoken in His holiness [in His promises]: “I will rejoice, I will divide [the land of] Shechem and measure out the Valley of Succoth [west to east]. 7 “Gilead is Mine, and Manasseh is Mine; Ephraim is My helmet; Judah is My scepter.”

Judah means praise or thanksgiving. Gen 29:35. Understood why Judah, by God’s mercy and grace, was able to secure the greatest blessing through his motives aligning with the law of God.

BLESSINGS OF JUDAH

1. Judah established as a leader who others will praise:
2. Possesses strength, courage, and dominance over enemies: 2 Chro 20:21-22
3. Possesses permanent royal authority
4. Abundance and prosperity: Psm 67:5-7
