Sermon Note.

Mark 9:23

Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

Endless possibilities are divine possibilities because possibilities belong to the realm of God

THE RELATIONSHIP OF A BELIEVER WITH THEIR CHURCH AND PASTOR:
To experience endless possibilities, a believer’s relationship with their church and pastors must be rooted in active partnership, honor, and spiritual alignment

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CHURCH AND PASTOR TOWARDS MEMBERS

1. Keeping watch over self and the members
   by:
   a. Looking after the well-being of the flock
   b. Guard believers from spiritual influences and false teachings
2. Teach and equip members
   by:
   a. Feed with truth
   b. Prepare and train members to do the work of ministry and build up the church body
3. Lead by example
   by:
   a. Be a role model
   b. Serve with humility

RESPONSIBILITIES OF MEMBERS TOWARDS THE CHURCH AND PASTOR

1. Regular attendance
2. Active service
3. Be committed to financial stewardship
4. Preserve the unity of the body
5. Willingly obey your pastors and leaders
6. Spiritual honor must be given to your pastors
7. Offer financial and material care to your pastors and leaders
8. Prayer support
9. Love your pastors; don’t lust after them
