Psalm 65:11
Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.
God’s goodness includes His mercy, grace, patience, and His blessings on us. His goodness reveals the way He redeemed Man and saved us even when we were Sinners. Rom 5:8. But God commendeth His love towards us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. Only good people love you while you keep offending. However, His goodness does not exempt man from punishment if man delights in practicing sin. Many are suffering from the consequences of their past deeds, but God is still good to them.
The goodness of God has brought us
His blessings.
God’s goodness isn’t just evident during happy times but present during challenges and hardships, providing us with the strength to win.
God is good is not a slogan but the true nature of God. He is perfect in all things and to all people.
Even to the unrighteous, He is good Matt 5:45 …… He sends rain on the just and on the unjust. His goodness is towards everyone.EVIDENCE OF HIS GOODNESS IN MY LIFE
- Consistence blessings. Gen. 12:2-4, 24:1.
God’s goodness is not a one-time event but a continuous stream of blessings. Including daily, monthly, and annual packages that ensure lives are constantly moving forward.
It takes His goodness to bless many Believers despite their disobedience to His word and instructions. God is really good. Man is known to have been fighting God’s purpose with their blessing.- Rescue and Restoration: Acts. 23:27. This man was taken from the Jews and should have been killed by them, then came I with an Army and rescued him…..
God delivers people from troubles, even the troubles they brought upon themselves through sin and disobedience. He restores them when they repent, reversing the negative effects of sin and calamity.
He does not leave us to our troubles, including the ones we brought upon ourselves via ignorance or disobedience.. God is super good.- Provisions: Psm. 23:5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of my enemies. Thou anoints my head with oil, my cup runs over.
He provides food, security, and all our needs to keep us sanctified. A man in perpetual need is a man subject to ridicule. He keeps providing for us to maintain our integrity and keep our language unchanged.- Source of praise: Psm. 48:9-10.
Reflecting on the act of redemption from sin and being made children of God is a central theme for praise and thanksgiving. His goodness is our source of praise and thanksgiving.
God is really good to us. Hallelujah.
The anointing oil is here before us and in our hands as it was in the hands of Samuel. 1Sam. 16:13…. Each time we are anointed with oil in a congregation like this, we receive a renewal of strength and a fresh Infilling of the Holy Spirit.
We will not be a victim of evil time and evil people in Jesus’ name..
Have a wonderful week full of His blessings in Jesus’ name, amen.
