And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.

Thanksgiving is an essential aspect of our relationship with God. It is more than a verbal expression of gratitude; it is a spiritual act that demonstrates our recognition of God’s goodness, faithfulness, mercy, and power in our lives. As believers, we must understand that thanksgiving is not merely a response to answered prayers or material blessings but a lifestyle that honours God in every season.
